Who we are
T's Treasure is run by Tonina Varley, Unit 1, Sandgate Estate, Hartlepool, TS25 1BU. We are responsible for (the "controller" of) the personal information described here. Contact: info.tstreasure@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Your order: your name, email address, delivery address, what you ordered and any notes you add (such as scent choices). We use this to make, post and support your order, and to send you your receipt. Our legal reason is that we need it to carry out our contract with you.
- Emails you send us: we use these to reply to you.
- Chat questions: questions typed into the chat bubble are used only to show you an answer. We don't save them.
We don't sell your information.
Our newsletter
If you sign up to the T's Treasure club, we'll use your email address to send you news about new scents, offers and seasonal ranges. We only email you if you sign up yourself, and our legal reason is your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing info.tstreasure@gmail.com. Our mailing list is managed by MailerLite, which stores your email address for us. We keep your address until you unsubscribe.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and we never see or store them. Stripe's own privacy policy is at stripe.com/gb/privacy.
Who else sees your information
- Stripe (payments)
- Royal Mail (your name and address on the parcel)
- Netlify (the company that hosts this website)
- MailerLite (our newsletter, only if you sign up)
- Our email provider (if you email us)
Some of these companies may store information outside the UK, using the legal safeguards required by UK data protection law.
Cookies and your basket
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is saved in your own browser so it's still there if you come back later; you can clear it by emptying your basket or clearing your browser data. Stripe uses its own cookies on its payment page to keep payments secure and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 6 years, because the law requires us to keep business records for tax purposes. Emails are deleted when they're no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info.tstreasure@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
